Donald Trump signs $2.2 trillion relief package for US as pandemic cases surge

US President Donald Trump on Friday signed a $2.2 trillion relief package amid the ongoing pandemic. The economic relief package comes at a time when the US has been reeling from the economic tumult. US President said this is a much-needed package for America. Under the plan, most Americans will get direct payments of $1,200. The plan was in approval with Democrats and Republicans alike. Trump said the deal will also benefit small businesses.
