Ukraine fears Putin’s men 'plan' to blow up Kakhovka hydro-electric dam

The Kakhovka hydro-electric dam has become a focus point amid an intensified battle in South Ukraine with Russian forces. Both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky's men are trading charges that the either side may bomb the dam, which may cause a catastrophic flooding in Kherson. Russia first claimed that Ukraine was plotting to attack the dam with West-supplied weapons. Ukraine then dismissed the allegations as Moscow's bid to bomb the dam and blame Kyiv. The dam also provides water to Crimea, annexed from Ukraine by Russia in 2014.
