UN Official Says 'Dismantle Israel', Pitches New 'Solution' For Palestine Dispute In Final Letter

A retiring United Nations senior official wrote a scathing letter, calling for the "dismantling" of Israel, and establishment of a "single state in all of historic Palestine" in its place. Craig Mokhiber, who stepped down as Director of the New York office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights after reaching retirement age, said a single, democratic, and secular state is needed in the region to end the "settler-colonial project".
