Watch: Dramatic footage of escalator failure in Rome, 20 injured

20 people have been injured after an escalator broke down in Rome. The video shows the escalator collapsing in Repubblica metro station and people piling up at the bottom. Italian media have reported that several of them have suffered leg injuries. Media reports say that the people on the escalator were football fans who were on their way for the Champions League group stage match between Roma and CSKA Moscow. It has been also alleged that fans were jumping and dancing on the escalator before the horrific incident took place.
