‘Won't let atrocities…': UNSC sets up first emergency UNGA session | Ukraine

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Sunday called for a rare emergency special session of the 193 member-strong UN General Assembly (UNGA) after a deadlock in its last meeting on Friday due to Russia’s veto. Speaking at the heated UNSC meet, the US said that the world will not let Russia’s atrocities slide. Lamenting Russia’s veto of Friday’s resolution, the US said ‘Russia cannot veto our accountability’. The UK also had harsh words for Russia for opposing the resolution for a special UNGA session on Ukraine war. Watch the full video for more.
