12 killed in suicide blast in Pak

A suicide bomber in Pakistan killed at least 12 people and wounded around 30 including a leading Pakistani opposition politician. The attack targeted the home of Rashid Akbar Khan Nawani, a member of parliament for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's party, in Bhakkar, 260 km southwest of Islamabad. According to the police, the bomber blew him up in the courtyard when Mr. Nawami was sitting with his supporters. Police has cordoned off the site of the attack.
