Updated on Jun 23, 2012 06:40 pm IST

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has said that he is ready for a life in Ecuador and the country has been "quite supportive" of his bid for asylum. In a telephonic interview to Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio from the embassy, Assange has said that he is concerned about being sent to the United States to face possible charges related to the WikiLeaks website, which published thousands of leaked U.S. diplomatic cables in 2010. Assange has said that he has no idea as to when Ecuador would decide on his asylum claim.
