Bangladesh celebrates independence day

Bangladesh marked its 42nd independence day in a colourful celebration on Tuesday. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unfurled the national flag and saluted the spirit of freedom on this national festival. A kaleidoscopic view of the country's rich cultural heritage was on display in the colourful parade with tableaus.
