Bangladesh war crimes trial should be done as per country’s law

Experts in Bangladesh maintain that the trial of war criminals should be carried out under the prevailing law of the country. In an interview with Asian News International in Dhaka, Barrsiter Tureen Afroz said that the trail against war crimes should be carried out under Bangladesh 1973 criminal act. Showing full faith in the war tribunal, Afroz said that she was quite confident that the present trail against the war crimes and genocide perpetrated by the Pakistani Force during the war of liberation of 1971 would give justice the to the battered families after almost 40 years.
