Bhutto returns to Pakistan

Benazir Bhutto returns on Thursday after eight years in exile, defying warnings of an assassination by Al-Qaeda and vowing to restore democracy to her homeland. Thousands of supporters headed towards the Quaid-e-Azam International airport in Karachi to greet their former prime minister. According to officials 20,000 government security personnel have been deployed along the route from the airport to the site where Bhutto plans to address a rally.
