Bomb blasts rock Peshawar in Pakistan

Just one day after the Lahore attack, Taliban on Thursday threatened more violence in Pakistan when two bomb blasts took place in Peshawar, killing five people. The two bombs were planted on motorbikes in the Storytellers Bazaar in Peshawar's old city and caused extensive damage. Soon afterwards, gunmen on rooftops began firing at police in lanes below, although Police later confirmed the death of two gunmen. The government has ordered cities to be on alert.
