Britain's ‘Iron Lady’ Margaret Thatcher no more

First female Prime Minister of Britain, Margaret Thatcher on Monday died of a stroke at the age of 87. Thatcher retired from public life after her first stroke in 2002 and suffered several strokes after that. Last December, she underwent an operation to remove a growth from her bladder. She was the longest-serving British politician from 1979 to 1990.
