Deposed judges to be reinstated: Sharif

Nawaz Sharif, chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, the second largest party in the ruling coalition said on May 2 that all the Pakistan judges deposed by President Pervez Musharraf during emergency rule last November will be reinstated on May 12. Speculation rose in the past week that the month-old PPP-led coalition could split over the issue. Sharif, however, denied the rumours.
