Designer has the last word: #TheDress is blue and black

The design director of Roman Originals, the company that manufacturers the dress that has caused a worldwide debate on Friday, has confirmed the true hue of the frock - royal blue and black. Michele Bastock, design director of Roman Originals said, "I would like to definitely resolve this big enigma by clarifying that the color is royal blue and black as you see here and it is not white and gold at all. But we are happy to put into production the white and gold if the demand comes along." She said staff members had no idea that the dress, when shot in that singularly peculiar light, might be perceived in a totally different color scheme.
