Dictatorship prevails over democracy in Pakistan

He ruled Pakistan as a dictator for a decade before leaving the office of President in August 2008. Thereafter, he lived in self-imposed exile for four years, shuttling between London and Dubai, and now, Pakistan's former President-General Pervez Musharraf has returned home in the hope of making a political comeback. Unfortunately, Musharraf's political journey has come to a shocking and abrupt halt from his point of view, with his arrest on charges of declaring and emergency in Pakistan in 2007.
