India, Egypt oppose armed engagement with Iran

Indian Foreign Minister, Pranab Mukherjee who is visiting Egypt for the bilateral economic talks met his Egyptian counterpart on Wednesday. During a joint press conference in Cairo Mukherjee said that India is against any coercive armed engagement with Iran on nuclear issue. Referring to India's civil nuclear cooperation with Egypt or any other country, Mukherjee said that New Delhi could not consider it at the present juncture.
