India must assess real needs of Myanmar: Suu Kyi

Myanmar's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi has said that India must look at the situation in Myanmar in a practical way and assess the real needs of the country, as it moves towards democracy. Foreign minister Salman Khurshid, who is on a three-day visit to the country, met Suu Kyi in Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar today. The Nobel laureate after meeting Khurshid said that she would like exchanges that would enable people to know one another and appreciate the differences.
