India says Pakistan to probe Kabul embassy bombing
Updated on Aug 03, 2008 08:39 pm IST
In a fresh development towards peace talks, Pakistan has offered to investigate last month's bomb attack on Indian Embassy in Kabul. Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh met on the sidelines of SAARC summit. India blames Pakistan for a breach of a 2003 ceasefire on its de facto border in Kashmir, and accuses its military spy agency of involvement in the Kabul attack. However, Pakistan has always denied such charges.
