King's palace turns into a museum

This is the place which once housed the royals of Nepal but today there monarchy. The country's prime minister officially turned the former residence of Nepal's deposed King Gyanendra, Narayanhiti Palace, into a museum at a ceremony on Sunday. Nepal's Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala hoisted the national flag and unveiled a new sign for the pink pagoda-roofed palace in the heart of Kathmandu.
