Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf on January 3 rejected any suggestion that security agencies were involved in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. Musharraf also said that Bhutto had been warned about threats from Islamist militants and about the danger of holding a rally at Liaquat Bagh. He also added that Al-Qaeda was behind the attack on Bhutto.
