Musharraf to contest presidential poll

President Pervez Musharraf declared on Monday that he would seek re-election from the current assemblies while holding the office of the army chief. He said any talks on the uniform issue could be held after the presidential election. The ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Quami) has reportedly fixed September 15 as the date for Musharraf's re-election from the existing assemblies.
