Turkish President Abdullah Gul arrived in Islamabad on Sunday December 2, on a 2-day state visit to Pakistan. President Pervez Musharraf along with his wife Sehba received the Turkish President and his wife Hayrunnisa at the Chaklala Airbase. Musharraf was also accompanied by caretaker Foreign Minister Inamul Haq, the Turkish ambassador to Pakistan and other senior civil and military officials. This visit is aimed at further promoting and enhancing the bilateral and friendly relations between the two countries.
