After a meeting with United States ambassador to Pakistan, Anne W Patterson, in Islamabad on February 25, Pakistan's former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the current method in the war on terror is not in 'anyone's interests' and Pakistan will have to formulate its own strategies. The meeting between US diplomat and officials of the PML-N was held to discuss political developments after opposition parties won in the country's elections last week.
