A vet based at in Elberton, United States, shared a touching video of his method to help an animal in need.
Dr. Andy Mathis climbed into a cage with stray dog Graycie to calm her nerves and help her eat.
Graycie was taken to the care centre after being found abandoned and in bad health on January 29, with hypothermia, emaciation, dehydration and a host of other medical problems.
After a few weeks Dr. Mathis decided intervention was needed to help Graycie eat, so he stepped into her cage, sat down and ate his breakfast with her. Although nervous, she managed to relax and eat her whole meal.
