U.S. criticizes Pakistan’s support for the Haqqani network

The Haqqani network, a militant group based in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area, has become one of the biggest threats to American war efforts in Afghanistan. The outfit is backing the Taliban to carry out major attacks on the camps of U.S.-led NATO forces and other high-security areas in Afghanistan.
