A New York University graduate has created a device using biometric sensors that helps people find partners called “The True Love Tinder Robot”.
Nicole He, a student on NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and the creator of the project, explains on her website that the project explores the idea that the computer knows us better than we know ourselves, therefore it knows who we should date too.
She also states that the “True Love Tinder Robot” makes the user confront what it feels like to let computers make what would normally be intimate decisions for us.
The True Love Tinder Robot will be exhibited at the ITP Winter Show on December 20 and 21 in New York.
