Watch | ‘The Big Lebowski’ house becomes a museum gift

Updated on Feb 20, 2016 04:48 pm IST

The house featured in the 1998 film, The Big Lebowski has been donated to the Los Angeles Museum of Art. The residence represents a quintessential Hollywood party house with low-slung couches and a well-lit pool snuggled into a corner where the roof, speckled with hundreds of skylights, curves into the ground. The owner of the Sheats Goldstein residence hopes it will inspire architects to build more creative homes. The house has also appeared in 2003's “Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle” and is often used for high-fashion photo shoots.
