Updated on Feb 17, 2016 07:08 pm IST
British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor's artwork of a migrant boat has been displayed on the seabed, off the coast of Lanzarote in the Atlantic Ocean. The piece refers to the migrant crisis hitting Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The artwork is part of a larger project called Museo Atlantico which features 60 figures on the Lanzarote seabed, 14m (45 feet) below the surface. There will be 300 pieces installed by January 2017 and the underwater museum will be open to public on March 1.
