For the 25th year in a row the Labrador Retriever is America's top dog.

Other contenders in the top ten include German Shepherd, who may be feeling a little slighted this year.

Also competing for top dog is The Golden Retriever, another family favorite and the Bulldog, which seems to be taking the competition lying down.

And while the lab may score high on the home-front, it's never won best in show at the Westminster Kennel Club, but it's easy to suspect the lab would rather be at home anyway.
