Yogi's 'Jinnah' attack on Akhilesh; But Rajnath gives ‘Ganna over Jinnah' advice

- There is a fresh twist in the battle for Uttar Pradesh as 'Jinnah' has become an issue of contention between the BJP and the SP yet again. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lashed out at Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav today as he called him a 'Worshipper of Jinnah' and in a tweet said that Pakistan is dear to his rivals. His statement came just a day after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in an address on his campaign trail in western Uttar Pradesh's Mathura said that Jinnah is not something that should be made a political issue ahead of the elections. Rajnath also said that sugarcane was a more important issue than Jinnah. Uttar Pradesh will vote on February 10 in seven phases. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. Watch how the political tussle unfolded.
