The video of a bear’s foray into a house in East Vail, Colorado, has gone viral as its forage for food took an unlikely turn.
On May 31, 2017, the grizzly wandered into the house, while its residents were away, to look for food. The bear walked around the house, exploring the bedroom, sniffing at furniture, grabbing some food from the freezer, before finally settling in to play the piano. The CCTV camera set up in the house captured the entire scene which was posted by the family on YouTube. As of June 6, 4:30 IST, it had garnered over 87,500 views.
The incident is reminiscent of the children’s story about Goldilocks and the Three Bears, except with roles reversed.
When the family returned later and saw their house trashed, they assumed they has been burgled. The CCTV footage took them by surprise!
The local government of Vail put out a statement in response to the video’s popularity. “The chords captured on video were unbearable and the tune was equally grizzly, according to police.”
