The fresh charges means Pooh Shiesty, who was released from prison just in October year, and was on home confinement when the incident happened, will have to go back to jail. Big30, Shiesty's dad, Lontrell Williams, and the seven other coconspirators will face charges in the Northern District of Texas.

The arrests by the FBI were announced by the Department of Justice on Wednesday, saying that the FBI's multiple state forces as well as its Violent Crimes division, are “vigorously” investigating the allegations in the case.

Is Pooh Shiesty Back In Jail?

The statement released by the DOJ did not say where if Pooh Shiesty was booked. He is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, and was likely taken into custody by the FBI there. As of now, his mugshots have not been released.

The details of the case were disclosed by the Attorney General's Office of North Texas in a press conference. At the presser, the US Attorney Ryan Raybould of Texas elaborated on the incident, accusing the Shiesty and his associates of kidnapping and robbery.

He said that Shiesty travelled to Gucci Mane's Dallas studio to negotiate a contract deal with Mane's production house, 1017 Records. Shiesty has been signed to the label since, at least, 2021. At the studio, they allegedly conducted an "armed takeover," injuring many of Mane's coworkers there. They then left with cash, jewelry, a Rolex watch, and other valuable items kept in the studio.

"Instead of discussing business in a civil manner, the defendants resorted to violence and intimidation to achieve their purported business objectives," Attorney Ryan Raybould said. “For anyone contemplating using violence and intimidation as a business practice, I’m here to tell you that it will be vigorously investigated and prosecuted in the Northern District of Texas.”
