Flying can be a dreadful experience at times, and babies and toddlers certainly do not rank high on most fliers’ list of favourite co-passengers. But a two-year-old decided to make the flight memorable for his fellow passengers with his super cute gesture.

The video of 2-year old Guy Jakubowicz from Kansas City fist-bumping everyone on plane went viral this week, and the internet hailed him as the ‘friendliest’ co-passenger.

He was filmed by his mother Alya Jakubowicz as he walked up the aisle greeting everyone in their Southwest Airlines flight from Kansas City to Chicago.

Alya shared the footage on Instagram, with the caption, “My son on the campaign trail, attempting to win the hearts of airline passengers in the hopes of becoming the next Southwest ambassador. He is making flying the friendly skies even friendlier with one fist bump at a time!”

Posted on July 21, it has already garnered more than 14,000 views and the story has been covered by media across the world.

“[..]Thank you for sharing, it was the cutest thing I’ve seen all day and it made me laugh,” wrote another.

Alya says she was excited to see the overwhelming response to the video.

“It’s really all exciting,” she said. “It’s beautiful that my 2-year-old son has been able to spread so much joy. My husband and I are so proud and happy,” she told The Kansas City Star.
