In the photo, she can be seen smiling with the kittens in her lap. Her post instantly touched a chord with social media users and received more than 2000 comments and 104,000 upvotes within a few hours.

The woman, who goes by the username flexilexi22, took to the online forum on Thursday to give an update on her health.

“A few months ago, I had a top post that I was just starting chemo. Today I found out that my tumor shrank to about half its size and the cancerous nodules in my lungs are gone! Also I got to play with adorable kittens. It’s a good day :),” she said.

Her update came as a relief for her well-wishers on Reddit, leaving many impressed with the way she pulled off her post-chemo look.

Others were impressed with her attitude towards life and congratulated her on her recovery.
