43 people killed in Latvia supermarket cave-in: police
At least 43 people are dead after the roof of a supermarket collapsed on shoppers near the Latvian capital Riga, police said on Friday, upping a previous death toll.

At least 43 people are dead after the roof of a supermarket collapsed on shoppers near the Latvian capital Riga, police said on Friday, upping a previous death toll.
"I can confirm that we currently have 33 dead" police spokeswoman Sigita Pildava told AFP, adding that 38 others were injured. The previous death toll from the Thursday tragedy stood at 25 killed.
