As UCPN (Maoist) tries to woo CPN-UML and Madhesi parties to get Prachanda elected as Prime Minister, a Maoist leader has blamed India for preventing these parties from supporting its nominee.
Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Secretary CP Gajurel has alleged that India has "tied hands and feet" of CPN-UML and Madhesi parties from supporting Prachanda, who has failed to secure a simple majority even after four rounds of polling in a House of 601 members.
