Lover makes sex video of girlfriend, jailed

Love turned into hatred after the couple parted ways, and the man vented his vengeance through the video.

A German was jailed for releasing a sex video of his former girlfriend along with her phone number on the Internet.

In the first such case in Germany, the man was sentenced to 18 months in jail and was ordered to pay damages amounting to $42,000 to the girl.

Convicting him of criminal insult and trafficking in pornography, Judge Mirko Schulte said, "She was pasted up on an electronic hoarding and fed to voyeurs."

The film of the couple was available on free porn sites around the globe.

"It's now technically impossible to delete these files off the Internet," said the judge, noting that such a case had never come before the courts earlier.

The man, 40, denied the charge, but contradicted himself in evidence. The files, too, were found on his computer.

The court in the central city of Marburg heard that his love turned to hatred when the couple parted. He put his girlfriend's name, address and phone number on the film and posted that on online porn-swapping sites.
