Mississippi State University awards $190,800 worth scholarships to LearnHub candidates from India

Six Indian High School students who will start their academic session in Mississippi State University for the Bachelors program in August 2010 are collectively receiving $190,800 worth scholarship from the university.

Six Indian High School students who will start their academic session in Mississippi State University for the Bachelors program in August 2010 are collectively receiving $190,800 worth scholarship from the university. MSU is a premiere university and has been ranked by Forbes in 'Top 20 Best Buy Colleges in America'. Hailing from India, these students were identified, counseled and referred to Mississippi State University by LearnHub Educational Services.

In the last one year of association with Mississippi State University, LearnHub counselors have successfully guided several students to secure admission in MSU, of which 10 will be enrolled at MSU, located in Starkville, Mississippi.

These academically accomplished students which have received scholarships are - : Pranaav Jadhav from Pune, Tausif Jamal, Rohini and Kazi from Kolkata, Sanober Riaz from Mysore, Saambhavi from New Delhi.

In order to celebrate their feat, Mississippi State University India Student Association is hosting a series of 'In-Home Receptions' across India to honor these new students and their families.

To be held in Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Bhopal & Bangalore, the reception will enable new students and their families to meet each other and current students and hear about MSU traditions and success stories from the undergraduate students before they embark on their new educational journey, says Dr. Lokesh Shivakumaraiah, Assistant Director of International Recruiting of the MSU Office of Admissions and Scholarships.
