The meeting was held Thursday, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.

On Sep 24, Pakistan's top military commanders had held an emergency meeting to discuss the prevailing security situation in the country.

The special corps commander's conference at Rawalpindi was called at a time when top US military commanders had accused Pakistan's spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence, of supporting the Haqqani network for carrying out two attacks on the US embassy in Kabul and US military base in Afghanistan's Wadak province last month.

Pakistan angrily reacted to the US statements and warned that Washington could lose an ally if it adopted an aggressive posture.
