The boat was hijacked 200 nautical miles north of Mauritius, the East African Seafarers' Assistance Programme said, according to Xinhua.

The last report of a ship hijack came Sep 27, when Greek cargo ship MV Lugela with a dozen crew members onboard was seized off Somalia.
