Teenage Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, who survived a Taliban assassination attempt and went on to become the youngest recipient of a Nobel peace prize, has aced her O-level examinations in Britain.
The 18-year-old’s father Ziauddin Yousafzai tweeted about her accomplishment, saying she scored six A*s and four As in the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) test.
Ziauddin Yousafzai said he and his wife Toor Pekai were proud of Malala’s achievement.

The activist, who shared her Nobel peace prize with India’s Kailash Satyarthi, has been busy supporting education for girls across the world and speaking out against extremism. But she also said she was keen to excel in her schooling in Birmingham, where she and her family moved after the Taliban attempted to kill her in October 2012.
