International affairs journalist Christiane Amanpour, who returns to CNN two years after she left to join ABC News, said she is keen to interview Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi besides highlighting India's economic and cultural growth in her new show.
International affairs journalist Christiane Amanpour, who returns to CNN two years after she left to join ABC News, said she is keen to interview Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi besides highlighting India's economic and cultural growth in her new show.
Amanpour, 54, will be hosting a daily foreign affairs programme, featuring interviews and analysis, on CNN International.

The show titled Amanpour went on air from April 16.
She said she is keen on going to India and interviewing its leaders.
"I would love to go to India and would love to interview Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, the Gandhi children," besides focussing on the country's economic and cultural stories, she told PTI at an interaction with a select group of foreign correspondents at CNN headquarters in New York.
