UK school offers bra lessons for girls aged 11

A high school in Derby is teaching girls as young as 11 how to fit their first bra and about breast health. These bra lessons are being given to help them negotiate the difficulties of growing up.

A high school in Derby is teaching girls as young as 11 how to fit their first bra and about breast health. These bra lessons are being given to help them negotiate the difficulties of growing up.

The programme was developed by primary teacher Karan Hopkinson to make bra fitting less scary and embarrassing. Karan, the school primary curriculum leader at Derby High School, said breast health and bra-fitting were very sensitive subject for young girls.
