Despite mixed reviews from critics, Gauri Shinde’s second directorial venture after English Vinglish, Dear Zindagi is doing fairly well at the box office.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan flick has made a total of Rs 20 crore in the country in just two days.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, Dear Zindagi is about a young girl trying to find the perfect life and her encounter with psychologist. Made with an estimated budget of Rs 30 crore, the film released across 1200 screens in India on Friday.
The movie also stars Alia Bhatt, Angad Bedi, Ali Zafar and Kunal Kapoor.
