RRB NTPC stage 2 exam results declaration to take more time: Official

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will take at least 4 weeks to declare the results of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) second stage examination (CBT), a senior Indian Railways official said on Thursday.

“The declaration of the results of RRB NTPC second stage examination is expected to take around 3 to 4 weeks more,” the official, who did not want to be named, told Hindustan Times.

Earlier, the official had said that the results were expected to be announced by March 15.

The RRB has released the answer keys of the second stage of the exam. About 3 lakh candidates, who had cleared the first stage, were called for the second stage.

The exam is being conducted to fill 18,252 vacancies in the railways.

The advertisement (CEN 03/2015) regarding the exam, published in December 2015, sought to recruit people for various posts, including assistant station master, clerk, goods guard, typist, apprentice and junior accounts assistant.
