CITY YOUTH Ashutosh Joshi has been selected in the last 20 in the magnum opus reality show ‘Business Baazigar’ of Zee TV.

Addressing a press conference here today, Ashutosh shared his experiences of landing up in the contest by sending an idea for the show. Ashutosh said that he was chosen from among 2,000 contestants to appear for the video conferencing.

The jury comprising Zee Telefilms chairman Subhash Chandra, Passionfunds CEO Mahesh Murthy and IIM faculty Prof Anil Gupta queried the contestants and selected 250 for the next stage.

Ashutosh revealed that he was again selected among the 50 contestants and has now gained a place in the last 20 candidates too. His business idea is to develop an amusement park with a unique theme. He, however, refused to reveal the theme, saying these were strategic issues. Currently Ashutosh and 19 other candidates have been assigned the task to prove their mettle. Zee TV and partners for the show Aditya Birla Group would fund the idea presented by the winner.

The first season of the show would consist of 24 episodes and the contestant reaching the final stage would be the Business Baazigar. The show is telecast at 8.00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays on Zee TV. Cyrus Sahukar is host for the show. For participation in the show one has to solve an IQ test online at the primary stage. Entries for ongoing season have been closed and would be opened for the next season soon.
