Within two months of the sacrilege of Islamic holy book Quran Sharif at Malerkotla, another such incident was reported in Sunam on Independence Day.

Sources said as many as 138 pages of the holy book were found torn in the mosque at Mehlan chowk on Monday.

The police have registered a case against unidentified persons and initiated probe.
