Over 300 parents of Punjab Public School, Nabha, students protested against the 30% fee hike by the school in the middle of the session.

The parents said they were not intimated about the fee hike. Later, the parents met the school management.

The management said the fee had been hiked following the school’s governing board decision.

The school management extended the last date to deposit the fee from July 31 to August 31 and demanded 20 days’ time for discussing the matter with the board members.

The parents also submitted a memorandum to the school headmaster and said they would launch a protest if the decision was not revoked.
