Ganapati Visarjan | Glimpses from the final procession to immersion

The last day of Ganesh Chaturthi has witnessed people gathering in huge numbers to bid adieu to Lord Ganesha. Ecstatic devotees are participating in processions leading to waterbodies, where the idols will be immersed. In Mumbai alone, more than 7,000 civic employees, from Class 3 to officers, will be present across the 69 natural and 31 artificial immersion spots. Immersion has also begun in other parts of the country.
