Hockey World League Final: Wasteful India lose to Germany 2-0

Germany defeated hosts India 2-0 to seal first place in Pool B of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Hockey World League final in Bhubaneswar on Monday. While the India team had chances in the third and fourth quarters, Germany were outstanding in defence and always seemed in control of the contest to end their pool campaign with seven points from a possible nine.
